Job summary

E Source, a research, data and technology focused professional services firm for utilities in the US and Canada, is seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer to shape AI/ML solutions across electrification, network reliability, geospatial analysis, time series, and more.

You will collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to build scalable ML products, implement retrieval‑augmented generation, agent‑based workflows, and robust evaluation/monitoring.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable ML/AI software products.
• Build reusable Python packages to support ML/AI algorithms and data pipelines.
• Contribute to AI system design including retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) and LLM integration.
• Develop agentic evaluation and monitoring frameworks for model reasoning, consistency, and fairness.
• Evaluate database design and create optimized queries for data processing and retrieval.
• Break down complex ML/AI tasks into actionable user and technical stories.
• Ensure high-quality test coverage of ML code and participate in peer reviews.
