Atlas Tech is seeking a Senior Applied AI/ML Engineer to design, build, and operationalize advanced AI/ML solutions for mission, operational, and business problems. You will shape solution architectures, select models/frameworks, and translate complex ideas into practical capabilities for end users.

The ideal candidate excels in research, prototyping, and applied engineering, with hands-on experience deploying AI-enabled applications into production systems.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, ML, Data Science, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in applied AI/ML engineering with production deployments.
• Experience with LLMs, fine-tuning, RAG, prompt engineering, or custom training.
• Experience with vector databases and semantic search.
• Experience applying LoRA adapters for fine-tuning foundation models.

Aufgaben

• Design, build, and deploy scalable AI/ML tools for generative AI use cases.
• Develop end-to-end ML pipelines including LLM tool integration and data ingestion.
• Implement production-grade inference systems and API/microservice integration.
• Lead experimentation, define hypotheses, run evaluations, and improve models.
• Work with engineering teams to build robust, secure AI-powered architectures.
• Provide prompt tuning to address hallucinations and biases in production.
• Collaborate with domain SMEs to translate constraints into features and labels.
• Evaluate emerging AI tech and recommend baselines for mission-relevant apps.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal standards and reusable components.
• Ensure responsible AI, data governance, explainability, and ethical use.
• Prepare demos and proofs-of-concept to illustrate feasibility and value.
