ARKA Group L.P. seeks a Principal AI/ML Engineer to lead a multidisciplinary team delivering AI/ML solutions across defense and commercial space sectors. You will guide model fine-tuning, PEFT adapters, and retrieval augmented generation for multi-domain data including images and text.

Qualifications

• BS in machine learning, CS, math, or related fields.
• 10+ years in software development or data science, with 2+ years building LLM applications.
• Experience leading interdisciplinary teams and defining project scope.

Responsabilités

• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of developers and researchers to implement ML algorithms for diverse customers.
• Apply LLMs to remote sensing tasks, pattern analysis, and data-driven insights.
• Fine-tune foundation models and build adapters for new apps (PEFT, llama factory).
• Deploy LLM solutions across cloud and on-premises using Kubernetes.
