Job summary

Katalyst Data Management is seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer to lead portions of our AI platform, owning architecture and day-to-day development for production-grade AI projects.

You will collaborate with the Director of Innovation and a fast-moving team to deliver scalable AI capabilities for global energy clients, with a hybrid work option and a focus on reliability and production readiness.

Qualifications

• Production experience with Elasticsearch/OpenSearch.
• Familiar with AWS services (EC2, S3) and AI platforms (Bedrock or similar).
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana).
• CI/CD workflows and tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• NVIDIA GPU environments (CUDA, drivers, nvidia-smi).
• OCR/document processing pipelines familiarity.
• Git/version control; Node.js/npm exposure.

Responsibilities

• GPU Infrastructure & Server Management: monitor and optimize ML GPU systems and workload balancing.
• Data Ingestion & Pipeline Operations: manage large-scale ingestion pipelines and OCR workflows.
• DevOps & Platform Support: support CI/CD, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch and Docker deployments.
• Develop dashboards, logging, and alerting for pipeline visibility and reliability.
• Collaborate with Director and team to ship production-ready AI solutions.
