Job summary

CFD Research Corporation in the Dayton, OH area seeks a Senior AI/ML Engineer to design, build, and deploy advanced AI/ML solutions for national security mission systems. You will lead end-to-end data processing, model development, MLOps, and integration of scalable AI capabilities into operational environments, with a focus on NLP/LLMs, CV, and hybrid cloud deployments.

The role requires a TS/SCI clearance, 5+ years of ML experience, and a strong software engineering foundation across Python,

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• 5+ years of ML model development (NLP/LLM, CV, DL, RL).
• Experience with GPU programming and CUDA/RAPIDs.
• Proficiency with AWS and model containerization in classified environments.
• Experience with MLOps platforms and hybrid cloud environments.
• Strong software engineering practices and CI/CD (GitLab).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models for mission needs.
• Build scalable data pipelines for training and evaluation.
• Develop production systems including microservices and APIs.
• Integrate AI/ML into operational environments with security and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and document designs.
• Support accreditation and security processes in classified settings.
