Job summary

Mission Technologies, a division of HII, seeks a Senior AWS Data Scientist 4/5 to support DSCA Case Development Modernization. You will design, develop, and operationalize AI/ML solutions on AWS GovCloud to modernize the FMS case lifecycle, including DSAMS modules.

You will leverage AI/ML, generative AI, and RAG techniques to enhance data transparency, accelerate case development timelines, enabling automated decision-support while adhering to DoD standards.

Qualifications

• Experience building production AI/ML systems for real-world data
• Experience with cloud-native ML platforms and MLOps practices
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
• Active Secret clearance required, Eastern Time Zone alignment

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and deploys AI/ML solutions on AWS GovCloud to modernize DSAMS case lifecycle.
• Develops production AI/ML models for semantic search, document processing, and automation.
• Implements RAG architectures and AI-driven data solutions to support case timelines and decision support.
• Collaborates with software engineers, data engineers, and product owners in SAFe Agile
• Ensures DoD RMF and Zero Trust compliance and SBOM-driven monitoring.
