AlertMedia is seeking an innovative Sr. AI/ML Engineer to lead evaluation, training, and integration of advanced AI models across our product suite. You will shape AI strategy, optimize models, and ensure responsible deployment within our platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience, Python preferred.
• 4+ years in data science or ML engineering / applied AI.
• Strong understanding of LLMs and traditional ML methods.
• Experience with prompt engineering, model fine-tuning, and evaluation.
• Familiar with evaluation best practices: offline metrics, CV, A/B testing.
• Proficient in Python and ML libraries (scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, HF).
• Experience with Elasticsearch or similar large-scale search.
• Experience with cloud-based ML tooling (SageMaker, Bedrock) and data workflows.
• Demonstrated experience training and deploying supervised models.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational skills and multi-project management.
• Comfort with fast-paced, challenging environments.

Responsabilités

• Train and fine-tune supervised learning models for internal tools and customer features.
• Lead prompt engineering and testing to tailor LLM behavior across products.
• Design and implement evaluation pipelines for LLMs and traditional ML models.
• Work with Elasticsearch-backed data systems powering AI pipelines.
• Identify opportunities to improve AI models and data workflows.
• Develop tools/frameworks to support prompt iteration and benchmarking.
• Coordinate with security to ensure AI compliance standards.
• Evaluate commercial and open-source LLMs for performance and cost.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to deploy AI features safely.
• Monitor and improve AI/ML models in production.
• Stay informed on NLP/ML research and potential business applications.
• Contribute to AlertMedia’s culture and vision.
