Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, data engineering, distributed systems, cloud architecture, or AI/ML platform development.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale AI, ML, generative AI, or Agentic AI solutions.
• Production cloud-native data systems for advanced analytics and AI workloads.
• Experience balancing security, infrastructure, governance, and cost in complex enterprises.
• Data pipelines for ML models, vector databases, semantic search, and generative AI apps.
• Delivery from requirements to deployment with focus on performance and cost.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain enterprise-scale data platforms for vector databases, semantic search, and LLM applications.
• Establish controls for data quality, lineage, attribution, and explainability.
• Lead architectural decisions for AI-supporting data infrastructure.
• Partner with data scientists, ML engineers, architects, cybersecurity, and software engineers to productionize AI capabilities.
• Communicate AI concepts and risks to senior leadership.
• Coordinate across stakeholders to maximize reuse of enterprise capabilities and reduce duplication.
• Implement monitoring, observability, and reliability improvements for AI data platforms.
• Mentor engineers and promote engineering best practices across the organization.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and frameworks to improve capabilities.
