Job summary

WHOOP is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to embed within the Core Algorithms (Cloud) team, coordinating cross-functional groups from research through production. You will work with ML engineers and scientists to drive delivery of multi-disciplinary algorithm programs.

This role requires deep ML lifecycle understanding, strong communication, and a bias for action in a fast-paced environment, leveraging AI-powered tools to improve visibility and rigor in execution.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in technical program or project management supporting AI/ML teams.
• Understanding of the ML development lifecycle: data collection, model training, evaluation, deployment.
• Fluency with AI tools and a track record of AI-powered workflows to increase speed and scale.
• Ability to identify risks, ask critical questions, and resolve blockers across ML and software streams.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end program management for core algorithm development initiatives from research through deployment.
• Translate algorithm and sensing strategy into executable program plans with milestones, dependencies, risk profiles, and success criteria.
• Plan and manage development timelines with cross-functional dependencies across data collection, signal processing, software, firmware, and product teams.
• Drive cross-functional alignment with product managers, engineering leads, and data collection groups to align priorities and deliverables.
• Identify future risks and dependencies early; develop mitigation plans and communicate them clearly.
• Report program status, risks, and key decisions to leadership with clarity; propose solutions.
• Facilitate governance including planning cadences, design reviews, and cross-team syncs.
• Build AI-enabled tools and workflows to increase program management effectiveness.
