Job summary

HealthEquity seeks a Senior Cloud Applications Engineer to lead our internal AI platform on Microsoft Azure. You will design, build, and operate AI/LLM services, collaborating with IT, Security, and business units to implement reusable patterns and guardrails for safe AI deployment.

You’ll work remotely with an onboarding program including onsite Trailhead sessions. Key requirements include Python/C#/.NET, Azure services, and hands-on AI/ML experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing AI/LLM-powered capabilities using Azure AI services.
• Establishing reusable patterns, guardrails, and MLOps for AI applications.
• Collaborating with Security, Compliance, and business teams to ensure HIPAA-aligned security.
• Mentoring engineers in AI-assisted development practices.
• Delivering production-ready cloud-native AI solutions on Azure.
