Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior software engineer to design, build and deploy bespoke AI solutions for law firms and corporate legal departments. You will work with cross-functional teams, follow the full software development lifecycle, and write clean, secure code with DevOps in mind.

You will mentor junior engineers and engage with legal professionals to refine AI/LLM approaches in legal contexts; prior experience with legal SaaS platforms is a plus, and excellent communication is essential.

Qualifications

JD or formal legal training, or equivalent depth of experience in a legal practice environment.
5+ years of software engineering experience.
Proficiency in Python.
Strong understanding of AI/LLM evaluation methodologies.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience engaging with legal professionals and engineers.
Experience in legal platforms or SaaS solutions is a plus.

Responsibilities
