Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a legal technology professional to design and implement AI-enabled workflows for corporate and litigation matters. You will partner with practice groups, attorneys, and clients to identify opportunities for automation and AI integration.

The role requires a JD with active bar and at least five years of transactional or litigation experience, plus hands-on experience with document automation, knowledge management, and AI platforms.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership.
• Minimum of five years practicing transactional or litigation law in a law firm, legal services org, or professional setting.
• Demonstrated interest or practical experience in legal technology, innovation, or legal operations.
• Genuine curiosity about how AI and automation can transform legal practice.
• Experience with legal tech platforms such as document automation, knowledge management systems, or workflow automation.

Responsibilities

• Partner with practice groups, attorneys, consulting professionals, and clients to identify opportunities for digital tools, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities.
• Design, build, test, and maintain AI agents and AI-assisted workflows for legal processes
• Translate legal knowledge into scalable digital solutions
• Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and individual coaching for attorneys and legal consultants
• Champion AI tools by answering questions, troubleshooting issues, and sharing best practices to drive adoption
• Develop, test, and maintain a library of optimized prompts for legal workflows
• Apply prompt engineering best practices and version control
• Gather user feedback to continuously improve output quality
• Monitor developments in legal technology and AI
• Evaluate emerging platforms
• Contribute to AI governance committees and pilot programs
• Support special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
