Job summary

RELX seeks an experienced engineer to design, build, and scale AI-driven infrastructure and governance for GenAI products within the AI Infrastructure and Governance team. You will help ensure reliable model capacity, governance, and collaboration across engineering and product teams.

You will mentor others, translate complex requirements into robust software designs, and drive development practices across diverse environments (Agile, Waterfall).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience.
• BS in Engineering/CS or equivalent experience.
• Advanced knowledge of AI systems/vendors, models, capacity planning and provisioning.
• Advanced knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).

Responsibilities

• Interface with other technical personnel to finalize requirements.
• Write and review portions of detailed specifications for complex system components.
• Support GenAI development teams, manage model capacity, and governance oversight.
• Complete complex bug fixes.
• Translate complex product requirements into software designs.
• Implement development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews.
