Job summary

Equinix is seeking a Distinguished Engineer for AI Infrastructure Products to define multi-year architecture and lead the creation of scalable AI platforms. You will work across compute, APIs, and networking, and drive technology investments with executives and partners.

This hands-on role focuses on incubating new products from concept to production at global scale. You will mentor engineers, shape the product roadmap, and collaborate with Product, Security, and Operations teams to ensure

Qualifications

Strong experience building and operating distributed systems at scale.
Kubernetes and cloud-native tech, containers and service meshes.
Go and Python proficiency, with API design focus.
Experience with CI/CD, IaC, observability, and reliability engineering.

Responsibilities

Define and own multi-year technical vision and reference architecture for AI infrastructure.
Design, build, operate AI infrastructure products and APIs for customers.
Incubate zero-to-one products and drive rapid prototyping to production.
Scale platforms across Equinix's global data center footprint and ensure reliability.
Mentor engineers and collaborate with product, security, and operations teams.
