Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Network Engineer for the AI Infra group (STARSHIELD) to drive operation and deployment of the Starshield data center network. You will own network design, security, performance, and reliability improvements for critical missions.

You will lead deployments, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with hardware, software, and network teams to push for technical excellence while supporting Top Secret clearance processes and future travel requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or engineering discipline is required or equivalent military experience.
• 5+ years of professional networking experience deploying enterprise network solutions or cloud and web-scale networks.
• Master’s degree is preferred and can substitute for experience where allowed.

Responsibilities

• Manage network infrastructure and deployments to Top Secret data centers.
• Design, validate, and productize high-speed copper and optical connectivity for AI clusters.
