Job summary

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure in Austin seeks a senior engineer to design, build, and scale bare-metal provisioning systems powering millions of servers. You will tackle distributed systems challenges and help deliver infrastructure for OCI’s highest-performing compute services.

You’ll work with BMCs, NICs, GPUs, and firmware components, partnering with multiple teams to ensure reliability and security at scale.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and building large-scale distributed infrastructure.
• Strong background in Linux development and firmware.
• Ability to work across hardware and software boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale bare-metal provisioning systems for OCI.
• Tackle complex distributed systems challenges and ensure security and reliability.
• Collaborate with Compute, Networking, Security, and Hardware teams.
• Develop high-performance micro-services and tooling for server provisioning.
