The AI Access Initiative (2AI), incubated at Evidence Action, seeks a Manager / Senior Manager, Incubation to lead analysis and field work for AI-enabled Big Bets in LMICs. You will own program assessments end-to-end and craft recommendations for leadership.

This builder role involves creating tools and playbooks, traveling up to 25% internationally, and shaping how 2AI translates frontier AI into cost-effective programs that reach millions.

Qualifications

• Experience in structured, rigorous problem solving in fast, project-based environments.
• Deep experience with modeling and quantitative analysis, including back-of-the-envelope estimates and cost-effectiveness benchmarks.
• Excellent written communication, especially short decision memos that lead with the recommendation and are honest about uncertainty.

Responsabilités

• Own the case for potential Big Bets: frame questions, assess, and recommend to leadership.
• Oversee portfolio due diligence end to end: screen, deep dive, pilot handoff.
• Build analyses: evidence reviews, BOTEC, cost-effectiveness estimates, risk assessments.
• Write clear memos with recommendations and confidence levels for leadership.
• Travel internationally up to 25% to pilot sites and partners.
• Co-design pilots and build the AI-enabled workflows for the Incubator process.
