Job summary

Dolby is seeking a Senior Research Leader in image and video processing to shape未来 imaging technologies. You will lead hands-on research at the intersection of traditional image processing and modern AI, and mentor a team of researchers across vision, graphics, and content enhancement.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. with 8+ years of research experience, strong publications, and expertise in C/C++ and Python.

Qualifications

Ph.D. in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or Computer Science.
Proven publication record in image sensors, lenses, camera signal processing.
Deep knowledge of AI/ML, networks, data augmentation and performance analysis.
Experience with GPU/CPU architectures, embedded systems, and SoC deployment for ML.
Strong ability to mentor and lead research teams.

Responsibilities

Lead hands-on research at the intersection of classical image processing and AI.
Invent and advance next-generation image/video capture technologies.
Drive projects that enhance image delivery, analysis, rendering, and content creation technologies.
Collaborate with global research teams to set directions and fuel Dolby’s businesses.
Mentor a high-performing team of researchers in image processing and vision.
