Job summary

Oracle in Burlington, MA is seeking an experienced System Technical Lead to own board designs and lead cross-functional engineering teams to deliver next‑gen servers and rack‑scale systems. You will work hands‑on across schematic capture, layout, and validation, collaborating with JDM/ODM partners and internal CAD teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field; 7+ years of engineer­ing experience, or 5+ with Master’s, or 3+ with Doctorate.
• Experience in server, storage, or compute platform development with hands-on board design and cross-functional leadership.
• Ownership of complex board designs: component selection, schematic capture, electrical analysis, floor planning, PCB implementation; CAD tools mentioned above.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own board designs, including component selection and qualification.
• Define PCB constraints; work with CAD designers on stackup, placement, and routing; collaborate on SI/PI analyses.
• Lead architecture reviews, validation plans, prototype bring-up, debug, and root-cause analysis.
• Coordinate hardware/firmware interfaces, power sequencing, and diagnostics with teams and partners.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive design ownership and cross-team collaboration.
