Job summary

Google seeks an Associate Principal Analyst for Responsible AI Governance to shape risk frameworks and governance across AI products. You will partner with engineers and product managers to ensure safe, ethical deployment of AI, aligning with company AI Principles and regulatory expectations.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, policy knowledge, and strong communication, with responsibilities spanning risk reviews, governance artifacts, and post-launch oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 7 years of experience in data analytics, Trust and Safety, policy, cybersecurity, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development of framework to conduct risk reviews and define artifacts required to attest to mitigations.
• Define opportunities to integrate AI governance and education for GenAI products and models.
• Maintain and evolve risk frameworks, taxonomy, and opportunity frameworks to align with AI Principles.
• Develop relationships with cross functional partners to help develop and launch new products and policies.
• Provide subject matter expertise on policy and product issues and work with sensitive content when needed.
