Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Senior Director of Software Engineering within the Chief Data and Analytics Office to govern and scale AI across the firm. Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts with 10+ years of applied experience.
• Experience delivering or governing AI/ML and generative AI solutions in financial services or a highly regulated environment.
• Proven ability to build agentic systems that automate legacy and complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive adoption of the in-business analytics ownership operating model across stakeholders.
• Own and improve AI/ML governance artifacts, including versioning and refresh cycles.
• Partner with data science, architecture, engineering, and data teams to translate requirements into actionable plans and controls.
• Lead end-to-end execution of AI governance rollout plans with milestones and KPIs.
• Design and build executive-ready governance platforms and reporting with audit trails.
