Job summary

Eaton's Data & AI Governance Office seeks a Senior Technical Specialist to lead the technical direction of the AI Governance pod. You will design, build, and run platforms behind Eaton's AI Governance program, including the AI Control Tower, AgentOps, the AI Funnel, and AI FinOps tooling.

You will write production code, set engineering standards, and mentor a pod of three engineers, partnering with AI Architects, Solution Architecture, Cyber, Legal, Privacy, and Responsible AI & Oversight to

Qualifications

• Ten (10) years of software engineering experience.
• Hands‑on experience building LLM and agent‑based production systems (3+ years).
• Must reside within 50 miles of a US Eaton location and be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Set the technical direction and engineering practices for the pod as a hands‑on IC.
• Design, build, and run AI Control Tower, AgentOps, AI Funnel, AI FinOps, and Policy‑as‑Code capabilities.
• Engineer observability, monitoring, and alerting across Eaton's AI estate.
