Job summary

Nuveen seeks a Lead AI Governance Specialist to lead data quality and governance initiatives across the enterprise. You will drive master data management and implement firm-wide data standards, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure data quality aligns with business objectives.

The role requires deep knowledge of AI/ML lifecycle terminology, and the ability to translate governance policies into actionable SOPs and system requirements while guiding cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of governance experience; 7+ years preferred.
• Experience leading governance initiatives and dashboards.
• Ability to design multi-stakeholder governance frameworks.
• Understanding of AI/ML lifecycle and model risk terminology.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of tools and processes to maintain firm-wide data standards.
• Strengthen the organization's data governance capabilities to ensure high data quality throughout the data lifecycle.
• Ensure data governance for master data through data coordination and integration.
• Oversee development of reports and dashboards to identify key business metrics.
• Monitor data quality metrics, audits and process improvements for master data.
• Evaluate master data management metrics and recommend improvements.
• Review and contribute to management reports quantifying business impact of data quality issues.
