Job summary

McKesson is hiring an AI Full Stack Software Engineer to design, build, and deploy end-to-end AI-powered solutions across the healthcare stack. You will handle front-end interfaces and back-end AI model integration, data pipelines, and orchestration, delivering scalable, enterprise-grade software.

You’ll work with LLMs, RAG, and various AI tools, while optimizing costs and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet patient-centered goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in Software development.
• Minimum 2+ years developing AI-enhanced apps using LLMs, voice, image, or speech models.
• B.S. degree in Computer Science or related engineering discipline, or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver AI-driven enterprise quality software applications.
• Build scalable applications integrating Large Language Models and other AI tools into new and legacy codebases.
• Design and optimize data pipelines for AI system development and testing.
• Communicate modern AI concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Iteratively craft prompts to maximize LLM performance and implement prompt caching strategies.
• Maintain prompt libraries & benchmark performance.
• Fine-tune & serve GPT-family, Llama.
• Develop AI agents Semantic Kernel.
• Prototype co-pilot experiences & autonomous workflows.
• Fully document all work at code and application level.
• Collaborate with staff and stakeholders on large projects.
