Job summary

LogicMonitor in San Francisco seeks a Sr. Forward Deployed Engineer to design, build, and deploy AI-enabled observability solutions.

You will collaborate with senior engineers, product teams, and customers to deliver tailored deployments that extend LogicMonitor Edwin AI across SaaS, hybrid cloud, and customer-managed environments. The role focuses on running discovery, scoping, system design, rollout, and measurable adoption, shipping code, and creating reusable patterns for core engineering

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of experience in backend or data systems engineering.
• Experience building streaming data pipelines (Kafka / Spark or similar).
• Strong programming in Java and Python, including microservice design.
• Experience with ETL, data modeling, and distributed storage systems.
• Ability to integrate external systems using APIs and SDKs.
• Working knowledge of observability fundamentals (logs, metrics, traces).
• Familiarity with cloud and deployment tooling (containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD).
• Exposure to AI application patterns and production observability.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, production-grade code in backend and frontend components.
• Build and maintain data integrations, pipelines, and microservices.
• Develop MVPs and experiments to validate customer use cases.
• Collaborate with AI, Data, and Platform teams to ship repeatable patterns.
• Partner with customers and internal teams during deployments to ensure adoption.
• Contribute to dashboards, alerts, and reliability workflows.
