ev.energy is hiring Senior Product Engineers to drive AI-enabled product development across lifecycle. You will blend product management, design, or engineering with a strong AI-first approach to build real customer solutions. Collaboration with Commercial, Demand Generation, and leadership is crucial to align opportunity with impact.

We value engineers who ship, learn, and iterate quickly, turning prototypes into scalable products that balance grid needs with customer value.

Qualifications

5-8 years of product/engineering experience with a track record of shipping
At least one AI-powered product taken from concept through MVP to production scale
Hands-on fluency with AI coding and prototyping tools (Claude, Cursor) as daily practice
Strong product instincts grounded in direct customer conversations
Experience leading small squads and influencing product direction without formal hierarchy
Strong written, verbal, and demo communication with engineers and stakeholders
High bias for action and comfort with ambiguity

Responsibilities

Take ownership of significant product areas from problem discovery to solution shipping and iteration
Translate customer problems into clear product concepts and prioritised experiments
Collaborate with Commercial, Demand Generation, and leadership to ensure market and commercial alignment
Build prototypes and demos fast to test with real customers
Use AI tools as a core part of daily workflow to accelerate output
Know when rough prototypes suffice and when production-grade engineering is needed
Ship, measure, learn, iterate and double down on what works
Engage with customers and cross-functional teams to understand adoption and retention
Raise the capability of engineers and model AI-native product engineering in practice
