Job summary

ev.energy is seeking a Principal Product Engineer to own the product vision across growth areas for residential customers and grid assets. You’ll shape concepts, prototype rapidly, and drive end-to-end delivery with cross-functional teams across product, engineering, and commercial.

You’ll lead AI-native product initiatives, translate customer feedback into measurable impact, and push for velocity while maintaining high quality and strategic alignment in a fast-moving energy-tech environment.

Qualifications

• AI-native product development from concept through MVP to production.
• Hands-on fluency with AI coding and prototyping tools.
• Strong product instincts grounded in customer conversations.
• Experience leading small, fast squads without relying on hierarchy.
• Excellent written, verbal, and demo communication.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the product vision across key growth areas.
• Turn ambiguous pain points into rapid experiments and experiments into product concepts.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Demand Generation, and CEO leadership to identify market trends.
• Prototype and demo concepts quickly for real customers and pilots.
• Foster a culture of experimentation, velocity, ownership, and impact.
