Apple is seeking a highly seasoned Senior Engineering Program Manager to lead a multi-year, cross-functional initiative spanning client software, backend services, large-scale data systems, and applied ML tooling. You will own the plan of record, drive cadence across teams, and translate technical discussions into crisp leadership updates.

This is a lead role requiring deep architectural literacy and mentoring of junior EPMs.

Qualifications

• 15+ years building program plans and managing cross-functional engineering programs.
• 5+ years leading AI-first programs end to end.
• Experience spanning client, services, data, ML, platform, and tooling.
• Strong ability to read engineering design docs and follow architectural discussions.
• Working knowledge of AI stack: model training/evaluation lifecycles and data pipelines.
• Exceptional written/verbal communication to senior leadership.
• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end program management of large cross-functional initiative spanning client software, backend services, data systems, ML, tooling, and platform engineering.
• Accountable for plan of record—roadmap, milestones, dependencies, risks, and executive narrative—and for the operating cadence keeping teams aligned.
• Shape the program-management practice by mentoring junior EPMs and standardizing progress tracking and communication.
