Job summary

Red Hat is seeking a Senior FinOps Data Analyst in Raleigh to blend cloud infrastructure, corporate finance, and AI engineering. You’ll build internal tools to reduce manual work and forecast cloud economics across a hybrid environment.

You will model AI and GPU infrastructure finances, architect Dataverse data ingestion, and refresh procurement planning to match AI investment cycles, partnering with IT and engineering to translate metrics into finance strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Data Analytics, CS, or related field.
• 2+ years in FinOps, cloud financial management, data analysis, or IT finance.
• Experience with large datasets using SQL and Python.
• Knowledge of public cloud billing and cost optimization (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Ability to translate usage and spend data into reports for engineering/leaders.
• Strong written and verbal communication; influence without authority.

Responsibilities

• AI & GPU infrastructure modeling to forecast financial trends.
• Dataverse pipeline integration for data ingestion from cloud/data centers.
• Dynamic PO lifecycle management with active biannual refresh cycles.
