Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a senior engineer to own the eval flywheel, leading end-to-end architecture, data curation, and metric validation for autonomous driving evaluation.

You will work closely with AI model developers and cross-functional teams to accelerate evaluation, ensure quality, and drive trust in the release process. The role requires leadership, depth in ML systems, and strong Python/data engineering skills.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software development experience in autonomous vehicles, robotics, or large-scale ML systems.
• Proven track record of independent execution and technical leadership.
• Strong Python and data engineering skills for production pipelines.
• BS or MS in Computer Science, Robotics, or related field (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Own the eval flywheel's strategy and architecture from data to metrics to trust.
• Set evaluation quality standards, including dataset curation and release processes.
• Build tooling for dataset pipelines and metric performance reporting.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and AI model teams to accelerate evaluation.
• Communicate clearly with engineers and senior leaders at pace.
