Job summary

Deloitte France is seeking a Software Engineer III focused on AI & Engineering/Software as a Service in Los Angeles. You will architect scalable full-stack systems, deliver agentic AI solutions, and lead cross-functional teams across product, design, and DevOps.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of consulting or industry experience in hands-on development.
• 5+ years full-stack development with a backend language and a modern frontend framework.
• 4+ years building microservices and scalable APIs.
• Solid knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Experience with cloud platforms and containerized environments.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Proven track record delivering across time zones.
• Experience with multiple SDLC methodologies (Agile, SAFe, Kanban).
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement scalable full-stack systems and services.
• Design and operationalize RESTful and async APIs on cloud-native infra.
• Lead end-to-end delivery from requirements to deployment and monitoring.
• Architect and deliver agentic AI applications using LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, and others.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers for learning and growth.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, DevOps, and QA to deliver quality software.
• Identify technical debt and drive refactoring initiatives.
• Participate in system design discussions and architecture reviews.
• Troubleshoot performance, scalability, and reliability issues in production.
• Contribute to hiring processes including technical interviews.
