Job summary

SentinelOne in Seattle is seeking a Senior Manager, AI Software Engineering to lead and grow AI engineering teams responsible for production-grade AI systems and customer-facing capabilities within the P&T organization. You will guide delivery across AI features, platform services, and supporting infrastructure with a focus on reliability and speed.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software or ML engineering.
• 3+ years leading engineering teams.
• Proven track record shipping production-grade AI/software.
• Strong depth in distributed systems and cloud-native services.
• Experience with MLOps and AI platform services.
• Familiarity with security, observability, and reliability practices.
• Ability to align stakeholders and drive roadmaps.
• Experience in cybersecurity or data-intensive environments preferred.
• Experience with real-time event processing preferred.
• Hands-on with AWS/GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow one or more AI Engineering teams.
• Drive execution for strategic AI initiatives across the P&T organization.
• Translate roadmap priorities into technical plans, milestones.
• Establish engineering management practices across planning, execution, quality.
• Mentor engineering managers and senior ICs toward accountability and excellence.
• Define best practices for AI systems, MLOps, reliability, security.
• Support architecture decisions for scalable AI systems and services.
• Recruit and retain top engineering talent across AI, software, platform domains.
• Improve collaboration across globally distributed teams.
• Contribute to capacity planning and quarterly/annual planning.
• Balance innovation with reliability; drive issues to resolution.
