Job summary

Agility Robotics is hiring a Staff Machine Learning Engineer to own the design and deployment of object detection and tracking for production humanoid robots in logistics and manufacturing. You will lead the perception architecture and drive state-of-the-art ML models into production.

The role requires 5+ years of ML deployment on mobile robots, a strong background in AI/CS, and hands-on experience with PyTorch, OpenCV, and NumPy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years deploying ML-based object detection on mobile robots.
• Strong background in AI/CS with ML, robotics, and intelligent systems.
• Proficient in deep CNNs, multi-object tracking, data association, and pose estimation.
• Solid math foundations in linear algebra and numerical optimization; CV geometry knowledge.
• Familiar with PyTorch, OpenCV, NumPy and related libraries.
• Experience optimizing algorithms for CPU/GPU and ML Ops.
• Publications in CVPR/ICCV/RSS/ICRA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture and roadmap for object perception systems in production.
• Design, develop, and deploy ML algorithms for detection, scene understanding, and 6-DoF pose estimation.
• Evaluate and adopt state-of-the-art perception models.
• Promote best practices for scalable software architecture and testing.
• Collaborate with navigation, manipulation and hardware teams.
