Job summary

Incredible Health is seeking an experienced software engineer to own AI-powered product features across the stack. Expect hands-on work from notebook to production, with emphasis on end-to-end delivery and measurable impact for healthcare staffing.

You'll lead ML-powered matching, search, and ranking systems, ship Python, Rails, and React code, and partner with ML, AI, and product teams to monitor performance and iterate rapidly.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong Python engineering skills; validate retrains and embeddings.
• Experience evaluating non-deterministic systems with golden datasets.
• Foundations in ML: classification, ranking, evaluation.
• Production LLM experience including prompts, tools, and outputs; SQL analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead LLM-powered products end to end from prototype to production.
• Own matching, search, and ranking with model design, offline validation, shadow-scoring, and A/B experiments.
• Ship production code: Python, Rails, React; diagnose issues like hallucinations and ranking regressions.
• Turn ambiguous questions into production-minded data analysis; drive rigorous code reviews with ML/AI teams.
