Job summary

Dark Wolf is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to architect and deploy secure AI-driven solutions for federal and defense enterprises. You will design data ingestion pipelines, RAG architectures, and predictive analytics while ensuring compliance with DoD security standards.

You will tackle enterprise data fragmentation by building scalable NLP pipelines, semantic search, and role-based dashboards. The role requires active U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, ML, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience engineering production-grade AI/ML systems (or 3+ years with a Master’s/PhD).
• Hands-on experience fine-tuning, evaluating, and deploying LLMs and embedding models.
• Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, LlamaIndex, and modern API frameworks (FastAPI, REST).
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL, graph databases, and data lakes.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement RAG systems and LLM agents to query, summarize, and synthesize insights across data.
• Build semantic search engines integrating internal databases, data lakes, and literature via APIs.
• Implement NLP translation, automated document classification, and multi-document summarization for gap analysis.
• Develop intelligent chatbots and virtual agents delivering role-based recommendations and career path mapping.
• Create NLP-driven tasking models to ingest inquiries and draft contextual responses with audit trails.
• Design ML algorithms for anomaly detection, predictive modeling, and causal inference.
• Collaborate with UI/UX and data engineers to build dashboards with NLQ and drill-down analytics.
• Design automated ingestion and ETL/ELT pipelines transforming disparate data formats into a unified Data Fabric.
• Implement Explainable AI techniques to ensure transparency of model recommendations.
• Ensure DoD security compliance (NIST, FedRAMP, RMF) across classifications.
