Job summary

Lingaro is seeking a Senior Specialist to join our Data Science and AI Competency Center, focusing on AI Engineering. You’ll build scalable AI capabilities and production-grade systems, integrating LLMs, retrieval, and agent-based workflows. Collaborate with product teams to deliver measurable business value and ensure high standards.

You will work with Python, Azure, and AWS, and contribute to governance, testing, and scalable engineering practices across global projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on software engineering with AI or data-intensive systems.
• Excellent Python programming skills and cloud experience (Azure/AWS).
• Strong understanding of LLMs, retrieval, tools, agents, and evals.
• Ability to design reusable patterns and collaborate with product teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve shared AI capabilities and reusable services for multiple products.
• Design production-grade AI systems including LLM-based experiences and pipelines.
• Create specs, evals, and workflow contracts to improve quality and delivery speed.
• Define evaluation loops covering quality, latency, cost, and reliability.
• Collaborate with product teams to identify cross-product opportunities and patterns.
• Contribute to AI-native engineering practices and automated testing.
• Apply guardrails for reliability, observability, governance, and security.
• Prototype new approaches and translate AI capabilities into scalable building blocks.
• Guide other engineers through collaboration and knowledge sharing.
