Job summary

PNC is seeking an AI Engineer in the Technology organization, to be based in Dallas, TX or Pittsburgh, PA. This role focuses on building and deploying LLM-powered, production-grade systems with end-to-end ownership across model development, optimization, and real-world integration.

You will work with PEFT, LoRA, prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, and modern inference frameworks, ensuring scalable, cost-optimized solutions for financial data.

Qualifications

• Hands-on PEFT/LoRA/QLoRA and instruction tuning for domain-adapted models.
• Experience deploying LLMs in real-world environments with RAG pipelines and API orchestration.
• Proficiency with inference frameworks (vLLM/TGI/Triton) and 4/8-bit quantization.
• Experience with vector databases, embeddings, and RAG architectures; knowledge of regulated financial data.

Responsibilities
