Job summary

CNA is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to drive AI-first software delivery across enterprise platforms. This hands-on leadership role designs, guides, and delivers AI-enabled, cloud-native solutions while mentoring teams in AI-driven development practices.

Experience with Guidewire InsuranceSuite is a strong plus; you will set standards, govern AI-generated code, and collaborate with business, product, architecture, and platform teams to realize business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• 8+ years of software engineering experience with AI-assisted development or developer productivity transformation.
• Experience in enterprise platforms or insurance domain is a plus.
• Prior exposure to Guidewire implementations preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the AI-first engineering vision and strategy across development teams.
• Lead and mentor engineering teams in using AI tools (e.g., Claude, GitHub Copilot) effectively and responsibly.
• Establish governance models and best practices for AI-assisted development.
• Architect and deliver scalable, cloud-native and API-driven solutions across enterprise platforms.
• Guide teams in building production-grade applications using microservices and CI/CD.
• Collaborate with business, product, architecture, and platform teams to align AI-driven solutions with business outcomes.
