Eleven Recruiting in New York is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join a client investment firm. You will design and deploy enterprise-scale AI systems using Python and modern AI technologies, with emphasis on reliability, maintainability, and production-readiness.

You will work with data scientists and engineers to translate business needs into scalable AI solutions. You will mentor engineers, influence architecture, evaluate models, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-impact AI

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience building enterprise applications.
• Strong Python development experience.
• Experience designing distributed, scalable systems and enterprise architecture.
• Experience building and deploying production software at scale.
• Working knowledge of modern AI technologies including LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, agentic workflows, or AI APIs.
• Experience evaluating technical tradeoffs between AI models and implementation approaches.
• Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks such as React or JavaScript.
• Strong system design skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
