Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking an outstanding High Performance AI Engineer to build agentic AI systems for the CUDA ecosystem. You will co-design with software, hardware and algorithm teams to push the latest NVIDIA products.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in CS/EE or related field, 3+ years in AI systems, strong C/C++ and Python, CUDA experience, and the ability to deliver high-performance models. Base salary range 152000–241500 USD plus equity and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, EE, or related field (or equivalent); MS/PhD preferred.
• 3+ years in AI systems development with experience in foundational models, agents, or orchestration.
• Strong C/C++ and Python programming with solid software engineering fundamentals.
• Experience with GPU programming and performance optimization (CUDA or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Design, build and optimize agentic AI systems for the CUDA ecosystem.
• Co-design agentic system solutions with software, hardware and algorithm teams; influence and adopt new capabilities as they become available.
• Develop reproducible, high-fidelity evaluation frameworks covering performance, quality and developer productivity.
• Collaborate across the AI stack—from hardware through compilers/toolchains, kernels/libraries, frameworks, distributed training, and inference/serving—and with model/agent teams.
