Job summary

iCatalyst, Inc. seeks an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Engineer to advance a cloud-based GIS platform for aeronautical information and airspace analysis in a hybrid, DC/VA/MD area. You will lead UI/UX with geospatial visualization and multi-source data integration.

The role demands 10+ years of experience with PostgreSQL/PostGIS, Angular/TypeScript/JavaScript, and AI/ML in complex data environments. On-site flexibility is required.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in STEM with 10+ years of experience or MS/MA in STEM with 8+ years.
• Demonstrated expert-level proficiency in PostgreSQL, PostGIS, Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript and GIS tech.
• Experience deploying AI/ML-enabled geospatial solutions in data-intensive environments.
• Knowledge of geospatial data management and aeronautical/airspace domains.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and sustainment of a cloud GIS platform for geospatial analysis.
• Architect and optimize enterprise apps using Angular, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Manage geospatial data models with PostgreSQL and PostGIS, including spatial analytics.
• Develop AI/ML capabilities to enhance geospatial analytics and decision support.
• Ensure security, compliance, and reliability across mission-critical systems.
