Job summary

Koantek seeks an experienced Data Scientist to join our client-facing consulting team in a fully remote US role. You will design, deploy, and maintain production-grade ML solutions, including Generative AI and NLP models, for diverse client projects and industries.

You will lead end-to-end ML projects, collaborate with clients and internal teams, implement MLOps practices (CI/CD, versioning, monitoring), and help scale our ML practice with knowledge transfer and best-practice documentation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on ML model development, deployment and management in live environments.
• 3+ years in customer-facing consulting or solutions architecture.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for clients and teams.
• Expertise in MLOps lifecycle management: versioning, testing, monitoring, deployment.
• Experience in infrastructure management: Docker and data pipelines.
• Deep understanding of programming for data-intensive and scalable ML apps.
• Proven experience deploying Generative AI and NLP solutions for clients.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical consultant, leading and executing end-to-end ML project implementations with clients.
• Exhibit excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills to articulate findings and status.
• Design, build, and maintain production-grade ML pipelines with CI/CD and MLOps practices.
• Implement and optimize Generative AI and NLP applications using RAG and LLMs in production.
• Manage underlying solution infrastructure (Docker, orchestrators, databases).
• Leverage distributed computing frameworks for scalable ML (e.g., Apache Spark).
• Contribute to growth of the ML Practice Team and knowledge transfer activities.
• Ensure all client engagements and training are documented via partner platforms.
