Job summary

EY is seeking software engineers to join the Platforms Practice, focusing on building UI across mobile, web, and tablet platforms. You will develop UI components, services, and APIs that integrate with upstream and downstream systems to meet business requirements.

The role emphasizes agile delivery, cloud and distributed systems, and applying AI to real-world problems, with a hybrid work model and competitive total rewards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree).
• Typically 2–4 years relevant experience.
• 3–5+ years of experience with Angular or similar frontend frameworks
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and Temporal
• Knowledge of Generative AI and building Agents
• Ability to design and implement robust APIs and microservices using Java, Python, FastAPI and OpenAPI
• Integrate authentication and authorization mechanisms using Keycloak, OAuth2, OIDC, and Azure Active Directory (AAD)
• Experience with Data Visualization tools like D3, Highcharts, Plotly.js, Ember Charts
• Experience using Commercial Dashboards (PowerBI, Tableau, Looker)
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) / unit testing
• Experience working on complex problems and in a complex codebase
• Knowledge of frontend “best practices” around page performance

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with clients to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring that the final product meets their needs.
• Designing and developing user interfaces that are not only functional but also enhance user experience.
• Writing clean, maintainable code and creating specifications that support business objectives.
