Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields plus 4+ years of AI/ML development.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields plus 2+ years of AI/ML development.

Responsibilities

• Partner with a cross-functional team of engineers, research scientists, technical program managers, and product managers to deliver AI-powered products.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support AI software components including foundation model training and inference, agents, and vector search.
• Leverage Open Source and SaaS AI technologies such as AWS Ultraclusters, Huggingface, VectorDBs, PyTorch, etc.
• Invent and introduce optimization techniques to improve performance, latency, throughput, and cost of large-scale AI systems.
• Contribute to the technical vision and long-term roadmap of foundational AI systems.
• Own end-to-end architecture for complex AI systems with maintainability and observability.
• Define and maintain SLOs for AI reliability, including latency and model drift.
• Collaborate with infrastructure to optimize GPU/TPU utilization and inference pipelines.
• Lead cross-functional reviews for new AI deployments ensuring security and governance.
• Mentor senior staff on scalable design and production translation.
