Job summary

Bot Auto is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Applied AI to architect, build, ship, and operate production-grade AI and agentic systems. You will own end-to-end workflows across backend, full-stack, databases, and infrastructure, balancing deterministic logic with probabilistic agent reasoning.

You will join a fast-moving team solving real-world problems in autonomous trucking, with emphasis on scalable architectures, tool calling, and secure, auditable systems.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience architecting, building, shipping and operating production-grade AI agentic applications.
• Strong backend and full-stack capability across services, APIs, databases, and UI.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture and end-to-end implementation of production agentic products and workflows.
• Design boundaries between deterministic software, workflow engines, databases, and probabilistic agent reasoning.
• Build and review backend services, APIs, full-stack apps, and operator tools for agentic workflows.
• Design agent orchestration, tool contracts, workflow state, memory, retrieval, approvals, retries, idempotency, rollback.
