Job summary

F5 is seeking an AI Engineer for Customer Success Services to design, build, and operate core ML/AI systems powering self-service, agent assist, and knowledge automation. You will own model lifecycle, MLOps, and safe RAG/LLM systems while partnering with Product, Security, and external platforms.

You will translate product needs into robust architectures, mentor engineers, and help ship production-grade AI capabilities across the CS/Suport portfolio.

Qualifications

• 10+ years software engineering with production ML/AI experience.
• 6+ years building full-stack systems at scale.
• Strong experience with React, Next.js, TS, JavaScript, Node.js, Python, Go, Java.
• Cloud experience with AWS and Azure; CI/CD tooling proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Define technical architecture and roadmap for AI in support workflows.
• Lead end-to-end model lifecycle: data pipelines, training, eval, deployment.
• Build production ML services and APIs; ensure performance and security.
• Implement safety, privacy, and governance for generative systems.
• Full-stack development spanning React/Next.js frontend and Java/Spring Boot backend.
• Operate cloud-native apps on AWS/Azure and manage IaC with Terraform/Bicep/ARM.
• Mentor engineers and data scientists; promote reproducible experiments.
