Fifty One Degrees is a UK AI and data consultancy seeking a senior engineer to lead architecture for agentic systems and data pipelines within client teams. You’ll own end-to-end delivery from concept to production, setting high engineering standards and guiding junior engineers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years shipping production software with ownership.
• Strong Python plus at least one typed language.
• Hands-on with LLMs, agents, cloud, data pipelines and testing.
• Comfortable client-facing and clear communication.
• Inclusive team mindset.

Responsibilities

• Take a build end to end: architecture, implementation, deployment and handover.
• Design production AI systems, agents, retrieval and data plumbing underneath them.
• Work alongside client engineering teams, and directly with Nick and Mark, with no layer in between.
• Mentor and support our AI and graduate engineers, sharing what you know as the team grows.
