Job summary

E-gineering Inc. in Indianapolis, IN, seeks a Senior Agentic Software Engineer to advance AI-assisted software development with Claude Enterprise and Claude Code.

You will contribute hands-on coding, tool integration, and code quality improvements in a collaborative, enterprise setting. You will work within AI-powered development workflows, participate in sprints, ensure secure coding, and help extend CI/CD pipelines with agentic tools.

Qualifications

• Senior-level software engineer with hands-on app development experience.
• Experience using Claude, Claude Code, or similar agentic AI coding tools in professional software dev.
• Proficient in modern languages, architecture, debugging, testing, and best practices.
• Experience integrating AI-assisted coding tools into workflows.
• Understanding of agentic AI concepts, prompt engineering, and automation.
• Experience in Agile environments and standard software delivery processes.
• Understanding of responsible AI development, secure coding, and data handling.

Responsibilities

• Use Claude Enterprise and Claude Code to accelerate development, debugging, testing, and optimization.
• Apply agentic AI Coding tools to real-world engineering tasks and projects.
• Integrate AI-assisted development into existing workflows and tools.
• Leverage Claude for code generation, refactoring, and documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve development efficiency with AI automation.
• Evaluate AI-generated code for quality, security, and maintainability.
• Participate in sprints, design reviews, and development sessions.
