Job summary

CAS is seeking a Senior Data Scientist focused on agentic AI development and large language model engineering in Columbus, Ohio. You will work on agentic AI systems, RAG pipelines, and LLM-powered features within CAS products, collaborating with data engineers, product managers, and domain experts.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with 6+ years of applied AI/ML or data science experience; Bachelor's with 8+ years; or PhD with 3+ years.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and the modern AI engineering stack.
• Hands-on experience building LLM-powered applications and production deployment.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and productionize agentic AI systems and multi-agent workflows.
• Develop RAG pipelines grounded in curated, provenanced scientific content.
• Fine-tune and deploy language models for domain-specific tasks.
• Set engineering standards for production AI, including safeguards and CI/CD.
• Mentor junior data scientists and engineers; lead cross-functional initiatives.
