Job summary

Ashurst Perkins Coie US LLP is seeking a hands-on Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and support enterprise applications, APIs, and AI-powered solutions across Microsoft Azure.

The ideal candidate is a full-stack engineer with strong C#/.NET and Python, experience delivering AI-driven agentic applications, and a track record in secure, scalable software engineering practices across backend and frontend, data, and AI layers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent professional experience.
• Extensive experience in C#, .NET, Python and REST APIs.
• Experience building AI-powered applications and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support enterprise applications, APIs, integrations, and AI-powered solutions.
• Design and develop secure, scalable REST APIs and integrate enterprise applications.
• Build and integrate AI-powered applications using Azure AI, generative AI, RAG, vector search, AI agents.
• Develop data and knowledge retrieval solutions using SQL, Databricks, data virtualization.
• Deploy, monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize applications in Microsoft Azure.
• Implement modern software engineering practices including Git, CI/CD, testing, Docker, and secure deployment.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, data teams, stakeholders to deliver reliable solutions.
• Create clear technical documentation and contribute to architecture, security, performance, code quality.
